THIS IS THE WAY!! 

FOLLOWING THE WAY!

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”  Isaiah 30:21 NIV 

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.  John 14:6 

HOW TO WALK IN THE WAY 

THE WAY BEGINS WITH MY WORSHIP 

“‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’  Matthew 22:37 

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.  1 Corinthians 10:31 

THE WAY CONNECTS ME WITH OTHERS 

We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We are writing these things so that you may fully share our joy.  1 John 1:3,4 

But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7 

For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.  1 Corinthians 12:13 

THE WAY EMPOWERS ME TO BECOME WHO GOD DESIRES ME TO BE. 

You already know these things, dear friends. So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing.  Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  2 Peter 3:17,18 

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.  Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. Colossians 1:9,10 

THE WAY OFFERS ME SIGNIFICANCE 
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.  Ephesians 2:10 

Each of you has received a gift to use to serve others. Be good servants of God’s various gifts of grace. 1 Peter 4:10 NCV 

THE WAY IS MINE TO SHARE 

For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.  2 Corinthians 5:14,15 

Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 Mess.
