Looking for a way to help someone this Winter?
The Community of Faith Mission Winter Shelter has changed for this year due to covid, but our community is determined to do what we can to support those who need a warm place to sleep while keeping them and our volunteers as safe as possible.
As a church, we usually help and this year, we will need volunteers for 2 days. We will be serving at the Clarion Hotel on Richmond Rd, beginning the evening of March 6th – through the morning of March 8th.
Please use these links to sign up to help:

All slots need to be filled by our church, so any help you can give is appreciated. Some that normally serve may not feel comfortable serving this year due to the virus and that’s totally ok. We understand.
But maybe you’re reading this and you’ve never volunteered but are ready to give it a try, then this is the year to do it because we need you. There is a video that COFM is asking all volunteers, new and old, to watch so that you are better prepared to help while implementing the new safety protocols they have put into place.
You will see the Training video link when you go to sign up. It begins 6 minutes or so in, due to the zoom session waiting on others to join and explaining how to use zoom, etc. But since this is a recording and not a live zoom meeting you can just jump that far and you’ll be good to go. =)
Another way to serve is to pray…..pray for the safety of those that come to the shelter and those that serve. Pray that they feel God’s presence and know they are loved by Him through the kindness of others.
