Pastor Sam   3-7-21

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”   Mark 10:45 NLT

For even Jesus didn’t come to be a consumer but to be a contributor and to give his life so we could be adopted into His family.   P.S.

HOW TO BECOME A CONTRIBUTOR:

1. SEE PEOPLE AS GOD SEES THEM AND HELP THEM FLOURISH

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.  Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”   John 13:34,35 NLT

2. CONTRIBUTORS MAKE GOD SMILE BY THEIR GENEROSITY

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.    Luke 6:38 NLT

3. CHURCH:  A FAMILY OF CONTRIBUTORS ALWAYS MULTIPLYING

My task is to bring out in the open and make plain what God… has been doing in secret and behind the scenes all along. Through followers of Jesus like yourselves gathered in churches, this extraordinary plan of God is becoming known and talked about even among the angels!   Ephesians 3:9-10 MSG

Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.   Ephesians 4:15-16 NLT
