PRAYER FOR YOURSELF

  • God teach me to remember who You are, that I am loved by You and that You have invited me to come to You in prayer—Jeremiah 33:3 
  • God teach me to be totally honest with You about my feelings, my heartaches, dreams, my needs, and my sins
  • God help me to totally trust You—Proverbs 3:5-6 

PRAYER FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY

  • To Share—1 Corinthians 15:3-4
  • To Show—Galatians 5:22-23
  • To Ask for Devine opportunities to share and show Christ
  • To Make disciples—win and teach—Matthew 28:19-20
  • To Focus on Heaven and heavenly things—Colossians 3:2-3

PRAYER FOR OUR NATION

  • Christians to do 2 Chronicles 7:14
  • Christians to be brave and strong with love—1 Corinthians 16:13
  • Christians to regularly pray for our leaders—2 Timothy 2:1-4
  • Our Leaders to know Christ and follow Him
  • Our COVID-19 pandemic

  • Realize how much you need God—John 15:5 “without Me you can do nothing” (This is true every day!)

  • God is All-Knowing, All-Powerful, and Ever Present
  • He knows everything, don’t try to hide anything from Him
  • Remember He loves you
  • Remember He has invited you to come
  • Remember sin can clog the line—Isaiah 59:1-2
  • Remember the Holy Spirit is praying for you too—Romans 8:26-27
  • When He doesn’t answer the way you thought that He would then remember His will and way is always best
  • Remember to be thankful—Philippians 4:6-7
  • Remember His promise
